This is sort of a random journal, especially since I rarely visit anymore.

Anyway, I find myself very frustrated with myself over the fact that I never really finish anything. If I put more time and effort into some of my work, and continued on with it, I really think I could do some good stuff. But alas, it doesn't happen.

Back when I was in a VB course, I started programming a game. It was great fun, and although it wasn't horribly complex, I liked it. Unfortunately, I haven't worked on it in a loooong time and have since forgotten much of what I did and dont know if I could really get back into it. I was also working on a CCG, which I sort of got side tracked from.

I really liked my Starcraft fan-fic that I was working on, and those who read it seemed to like it a lot too. I find myself angry that I stopped it. I'm super glad that they've finally announced a starcraft sequel, but on the other hand it is now going to destroy much of my fan fiction. I wish I would have finished it earlier.

Honestly, the last YEAR was weird for me. After I left the dorms at school, I've been doing random stuff.... had a few jobs, spent time with the family, and have been working hardcore on finishing my bachelors degree. I feel as if I lost a year in there somewhere because everything that I was working on came to a halt during that time. Hopefully I'll get back to it at some time. Although, teh starcraft story might be dead due to the upcoming release of SC2 (yay!).

I think I''m just in a transition period of my life where I have more important things to do and I dont have the time to spend on developing my ideas. Not to mention, there doesn't seem to be much of a point because they never really go anywhere. Still, I wish I could stay more focused on a single idea and actually finish SOMETHING. Several of them I quit for a reason - the CCG I quit because I was becoming overly complicated and needed to be scrapped and redone. The rest I pretty much just lost track of. After having left them for a year or so, it's hard to get back in because your mind isn't in the same place as before.

Ah well, this rant is huge.

Sorry. Hopefully I'll get this stuff behind me and maye I'll start writing again.
